Podcasts We Know You'll Love

Podcasts are gaining popularity all over the world, and it's easy to see why! Whether you're into politics, storytelling, cooking, long form interviews, true crime or trivia there are hundreds to listen to. We thought we would share some of our new favorites with you since there are always new ones popping up!

Serial | Season 3 - The This American Life spinoff Serial has developed a true cult following! The podcast, narrated by journalist Sarah Koenig is credited for bringing millions of new listeners to the online radio platform. The latest season launched last week with two new episodes that dive into the inter-workings of a typical American courthouse. "This season we tell you the extraordinary stories of ordinary cases. One courthouse, told week by week." Listen through your favorite podcast app or through the website by clicking here.

TED Radio Hour - With thousands of Ted Talks, it's easy to lose track of what you've heard. The host of this hour long podcast, Guy Raz, curates episodes on topics that are broad enough to include experts from several different talks. For instance, the latest episode has TED speakers explore new ways to think about disease, diagnosis, and the delicate art of healing. Guy interviews the speakers and makes it feel more conversational that your typical lecture Ted Talk. You'll learn so much that you'll be eager to share with anyone who will listen.

Up First - Do you enjoy the news but feel like you don't have the energy or time for constant coverage or an hour long update? This 12- 15 minute podcast comes out Monday through Friday in the early morning and walks you through the previous days news highlights. It's perfect for listening to on your short morning commute, while you're getting coffee or brushing your teeth and making your bed.

Last Seen - Last Seen is a true-crime podcast about the most valuable, and confounding, art heist in history: the theft of 13 irreplaceable artworks from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. WBUR and The Boston Globe have joined forces to ask why, 28 years later, this still unsolved crime exerts its irresistible pull. With a $10 million reward on offer, how is it that not even a single piece in a haul estimated to be worth half a billion dollars has surfaced? Gone in 81 minutes, the Gardner loot, and the thieves who made off with it, remain at large.

Armchair Expert With Dax Shepard - There are plenty of celebrity interview podcasts out there but this one feels different. Dax Shepard brings a freshness to the format as a recovering addict and the husband of a super-famous wife (Kristen Bell). He has the enthusiasm of someone truly grateful for his place in his industry and this moment, and that joy seeps through even the grittier details of his past life. Plus, it's a lot of fun to hear him go deep with former co-stars like Lauren Graham (Parenthood) and Ashton Kutcher (Punk'd). And yes, Kristen guests, too.

We always love to hear from you so share with us in the comments what some of your go-to podcasts are!
